Residence Inn By Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront – Hotel near airport in San Diego

The hotel was nice enough when we checked in, very accommodating, and clean. Despite being downtown and almost on the water, the rooms were kept clean, and I loved having a small kitchenette.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms were not as luxurious as advertised but were clean and spacious, providing basic amenities like fresh fruit and purified water. The service was friendly and attentive, although there was a brief period of absence from staff. The location was convenient for accessing popular attractions, but lacked immediate walkable options. The dining experience was decent, although there were some issues with the breakfast selection. The facilities met basic needs without any standout features.

The location across the PCH offered easy access to the train station and outdoor fire pits, although immediate attractions were lacking.
